Mountainside Software’s Mountainside Electronic Medical Records Earns ONC-HIT Certification from Drummond Group LLC

February 1, 2021 – Mountainside Software is currently working toward 2015 edition certification, having completed 90+% of certification testing.  We anticipate final certification by the end of the 1st quarter of 2021.

December 20, 2018 — Mountainside Software’s Electronic Medical Records has achieved Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC-HIT) 2014 Edition Complete EHR Ambulatory Certification via Drummond Group LLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) that has been empowered to test software for compliance with the requirements of the federal government’s program. The stamp of approval designates that the software offers the functionality that enables eligible providers to meet Stage 1 and Stage 2 Meaningful Use requirements, qualifying these organizations to receive payments under the ongoing EHR adoption program.

Leonard Hampton, company founder, says “Mountainside Software has worked hard to meet the new certification requirements and to enhance our Electronic Medical Records with the latest technology.  Our existing and future customers may rely on Mountainside to provide easy-to-use applications that fully comply with the ONC-HIT requirements.”
To earn the certification, Mountainside’s Electronic Medical Records was tested to be in accordance with applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Mountainside’s Electronic Medical Records, which met the requirements for Complete EHR Ambulatory Certification, is a highly customizable, yet easy-to-use, patient records application that keeps track of all patient documentation, lab results, immunizations and a variety of other details. With both nurse (caregiver) and provider workflows, the Mountainside EMR allows the medical office to stay on top of their daily activities of communicating with and seeing patients.
